Timely Collection

TridentCare has set up a standard phlebotomy collection process across the company and ensured that phlebotomists are highly trained and follow certified procedures. Phlebotomists are also required to clear drug screen, physical test, background check, and must hold a good driving record with a valid license. The specimen collection process starts when the customer places an order either via a phone call, online ordering, or via customer EMR integration. Afterward, a phlebotomist goes to the patient location and collects the specimen.

Upon the arrival of the specimen, the staff puts a bar code on it so that the progress of the sample testing is monitored continuously. The lab staff conducts all the required testing of the sample using high-quality and latest technologies. A human review is conducted on test results by laboratory technologists to further validate the results. Those results that are critical are re-tested to ensure the accuracy of results, while delta check is carried out for all results to compare them with previous results. In case of prominent deviation, the test is conducted again to verify the result accuracy.
